Join W&M’s Democracy initiative co-chairs Carrie Cooper Ed.D. ’24, dean of William & Mary Libraries, and Ginger Ambler ’88, Ph.D. ’06, vice president for student affairs and public safety, for an interactive workshop based on the Aspen Institute’s Better Arguments Project. This session will explore the project’s core principles — including prioritizing relationships, embracing vulnerability and recognizing power dynamics — to support meaningful conversations that bridge divides. Participants will leave with practical tools to enhance communication and strengthen community. Space is limited to 75 participants.
