Join W&M’s Democracy initiative co-chairs Carrie Cooper Ed.D. ’24, dean of university libraries, and Ginger Ambler ’88, Ph.D. ’06, vice president for student affairs and public safety, for an interactive workshop based on the Aspen Institute’s Better Arguments framework. This session invites you to explore core principles for engaging in a healthy and productive way across difference and to try putting those principles into practice. Through storytelling, facilitated activities and authentic conversations with others, participants will learn first-hand how we are engaging these issues with W&M students, faculty and staff. Participants will leave with practical tools, enhanced communication skills and effective resolution strategies. Space is limited to 75 participants.
